Hybrid course on PRIMER (Week 1)
General information
PRIMER-e is pleased to announce a two-week in-person workshop to be held as a hybrid course – offered in person at The Marine Biological Association of the United Kingdom (MBA) and simultaneously online (UK time-zone, BST (UTC +1)). Register for one or both weeks. PRIMER (Week 1) will be held 20-24 October 2025 with PERMANOVA+ (Week 2), 27-31 October 2025. Sessions for each week will run 9:00 am – 5:45 pm over 5 days (Monday-Friday).

Week 1 will consist of an extensive overview of statistical methods in non-parametric analysis of multivariate data implemented in the software PRIMER. This workshop will cater both to those who are new to PRIMER and to those who are “old hands” but would like a refresher. Non-parametric statistics and permutation tests make the methods intuitively simple to understand, so no prior background in statistics is assumed.
