General Terms & Conditions

Place orders for software or register for workshops by contacting PRIMER-e directly via email primer@primer-e.com or via the contact form. A quote will be supplied that expires within 30 days. Once the quote is accepted, we will send you an invoice which is payable within 30 days.

PRIMER 7 (with or without PERMANOVA+) is provided as an electronic software download. It can be freely downloaded and will initially work in trial mode for a period of 30 days (including trail example datasets). When running in trial mode you can load your own data but cannot save or print anything and all graphics will contain watermarks. Full activation of the software is granted via a licence authentication key that is delivered to the customer by email post-purchase. The same installer is used for either the base PRIMER 7 package or PRIMER 7 with PERMANOVA+. Once we receive either payment or a formal purchase order, we will email the authentication key within 2 business days (New Zealand time-zone). Activation also gives access to extensive example data sets.

Payment of your invoice must be made within 30 days. Payment options are detailed on the invoice and include:

• by Credit/Debit Card (either via the link on the invoice or by telephoning the PRIMER-e office directly);
• by Direct Electronic Bank Transfer; or
• by formal Purchase Order.

To pay by debit/credit card, you can phone us directly with payment card information, or pay online via our website payment portal. Please do not email any credit/debit card details to us. We do not accept bank cheques.

If you are not satisfied with the product, uninstall it from your computer and contact PRIMER-e within 30 days of purchase with your name, serial number, and licence key, for a full refund less any bank fees and administration costs. You may cancel any workshop booking, up to the deadline given on the registration form, for a full refund less any bank fees and administration costs. If you cancel after the deadline, we will still refund the payment less any bank fees and administration costs provided we succeed in filling your workshop place.

All materials, software, and information on this site, as well as any unique visual or functional elements of this site, are copyrighted and are protected by worldwide copyright laws and treaty provisions. Except as provided by the New Zealand Copyright Act 1994, none of these items may be reproduced or stored in a retrieval system in any form or by any means without the prior written permission of the copyright owner.
